Khunu Rocks the Runway
Khunu was thrilled to strut its stuff on the runway this past week at the Green is the New Black eco-fashion show in Carbondale, Colorado. The second annual event celebrated the rites of spring and featured fashion meant to spark the imagination, created from sustainable and/or recycled materials.
Khunu’s ‘soft-launch’ product collection joined the ranks of Patagonia and Obermeyer at the show, along with local artists to honor the dawn of spring, the return of life and, of course, an opportunity to show off our stylish, functional and eco-friendly yak wool.
The women stole the show. Pairing oversized Khunu tops with black boots and lots of bare leg, our female models proved that it’s not just men who can benefit from Khunu yak wool. Ladies: given the flood of requests we’ve received, we’ve got Khunu women’s wear on the design board and it will be coming soon!
